This
stockpiling and reclaiming system was built for Coastal Refining
in Aruba in 1995. The system receives pet coke from the
refinery at 500mt per hour and builds a 60,000mt stockpile using
a traveling tripper cart (this tripper cart can be seen stockpiling
product at the left end of the photograph).
Product
is reclaimed at 1700mt per hour via gates in the roof of an
above ground concrete tunnel that has a belt conveyor in it
(the concrete tunnel can be seen at grade level under the pile,
on the left side of the photo). The reclaim belt conveyors system
feeds a shiploader (visible in the background on the right side
of the photo).
